- *Role Overview:**
Reporting directly to the firm's Partners, the Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing and providing financial reports to the Partners on a range of financial KPIs.
- Implementing and managing the firm's WIP management process.
- Overseeing time recording across the firm and liaising with fee earners.
- Managing the firm's billing processes.
- Enforcing the firm's credit control process.
- Assisting with client onboarding processes.
- Handling other finance-related operational tasks and duties as required.
- *Skills and Experience Required:**
- Full-time availability is preferable, although part-time applications will be considered for exceptional and/or experienced candidates.
- Accounting qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with practice management and accounting systems, time recording, and legal billing software.
- Proficiency in widely accepted office technology, particularly Microsoft 365, with a strong focus on Excel skills.
- Proven experience in a similar finance role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
