  • *Role Overview:**

Reporting directly to the firm's Partners, the Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the firm. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing and providing financial reports to the Partners on a range of financial KPIs.
  • Implementing and managing the firm's WIP management process.
  • Overseeing time recording across the firm and liaising with fee earners.
  • Managing the firm's billing processes.
  • Enforcing the firm's credit control process.
  • Assisting with client onboarding processes.
  • Handling other finance-related operational tasks and duties as required.
  • *Skills and Experience Required:**
  • Full-time availability is preferable, although part-time applications will be considered for exceptional and/or experienced candidates.
  • Accounting qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with practice management and accounting systems, time recording, and legal billing software.
  • Proficiency in widely accepted office technology, particularly Microsoft 365, with a strong focus on Excel skills.
  • Proven experience in a similar finance role.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
