Behaviour Mentor Wanted for SEN/SEMH School in Rochdale
Duties:
- Use skills in Special education to support individuals with diverse learning needs
- Engage in Tutoring sessions, particularly focusing on Maths or English skills.
- Implement Physical education activities to promote overall well-being.
- Mentor students at various levels, offering guidance, encouragement, and support in their personal and educational growth.
- Create personalised strategies alongside teaching staff to address specific needs and challenges in students development
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes learning and development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEN or SEMH children is essential, particularly in a mentoring or educational capacity.
- Proficiency in communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of others through mentorship.
- Certification or training in Mentoring or related field is a plus.
