Our client, a leading organisation in the housing industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their People and Culture team.

As the HR Systems Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining high-quality comprehensive people-focused services. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a key business partner, providing professional advice and customer-focused services to managers and colleagues throughout the organisation. In addition to this, you will be responsible for optimising the performance of all people systems, building and maintaining excellent processes, and gathering and producing data to make recommendations based on performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultations with various teams within the organisation to determine HRIS needs.
  • Maintain high standards of people processes and continuously improve them by compiling data analysis reports and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform system upgrades and provide training and support to users.
  • Perform detailed statistical analysis, draw conclusions based on gathered data, and run queries.
  • Ensure efficient recording and secure storage of people metrics, adhering to Data Protection legislation.
  • Conduct audits on People and Culture processes and documents to ensure compliance with statutory legislation at all times.
  • Keep track of technological advancements and trends through networking and research.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • CIPD Associate Membership, working towards Chartered, Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, and working towards Level 5.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate/advanced level skills in Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with HR software (IRIS Cascade desirable) as a system administrator, including reporting, system configuration, data cleansing, and system design.
  • Experience producing and analysing key people data with detailed commentary and performance metric reports.
  • Detailed knowledge of statutory legislation application in relation to HR and Payroll, with experience implementing systems and processes to ensure compliance.
  • Experience working in an HR environment and providing generalist HR support to managers.
