Unique opportunity to work for a long-standing brand in South Somerset. This organisation has had a long tenure with their previous incumbent. This role is well suited to a candidate that would like to improve their work / life balance whilst also wanting a high level position - there are flexible and part-time hours available in this position as well as some home working, if required. Your new role
Supported by an established finance manager, this is a small team so will have hands-on responsibilities.
Reporting to the Directors and owners of the business, duties will include :Analysis of financial data meticulously, create models, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance decision-making. This includes scrutinising profit and loss statements, assessing investments and margins and costs to drive profitability.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting by managing monthly key performance indicators (KPIs), cash flow projections, covenant evaluations, and performance metrics
Foster finance partnerships through regular meetings, champion cash flow assessments, and maintain precise reporting.
Direct annual budget and quarterly re-forecast schedules, aligning financial strategies with company goals in close collaboration with the Board and finance team.
Collaborate with the owner to drive corporate strategy, oversee additional investments, and execute the 3-year business plan.

What you'll need to succeed Ideally, you will be qualified with either ACA, ACCA or CIMAPrior experience of a #1 finance role, within a small or medium-sized businessYou will be a commercially minded finance professional with an ability to build good rapport and relationships with non-finance staff.
What you'll get in return
Salary in the region of £70-80k, full-time equivalent
Flexible working with potentially for part-time hours.
25 days holiday (pro rata) + bank holidays
Potential for some home working, if required
