Due to the partnership between Hays and Birmingham City Council, we are looking to recruit an Administrator to join the Equal Pay team. Your new role

As an administrator, you will be supporting the team by taking minutes during complex meetings which occur regularly. You will occasionally be raising purchase orders and invoices.This role is a temporary part-time position working 3 days a week in the office.The Equal Pay team at Birmingham City Council are currently taking part in a large project which is vital for the development and future of the Council.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need experience of working in a busy administrative environment where you can prioritise workload. In addition, you will need to demonstrate you have minute-taking experience and are comfortable minuting during large meetings. It is also important to confidently communicate with various stakeholders at all levels.In addition, this role will be an ASAP start, which before starting you will need to pass your reference and compliance checks. This is a part-time, temporary role based in Birmingham. This is a six-month, ongoing contract but may be open to extension.
