Project Manager

The successful Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects typically valued at less than €5 million. This role encompasses involvement from the initial quotation phase through to commissioning, handover, and project closeout.

  • Project Execution: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful completion within scope, cost, quality, and schedule constraints. Ensure projects are delivered on budget.
  • Financial Performance: Accountable for the financial results of the project, including achieving margin goals and managing man-hour estimates.
  • Project Organisation: Organise and lead the project team, providing strong direction and fostering a culture of ownership to meet project objectives.
  • Schedule Management: Plan and maintain the project schedule, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Report project developments to various stakeholders, including Project Review Meetings and customers
  • Standard Compliance: Ensure all tasks are aligned with GEA's standard practices and procedures, and meet customer expectations within commercial constraints.
  • Customer Management: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout project execution.

To be successful in this role of Project Manager we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • More than 3 years experience as a commercial project manager in a manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, or chemical environment.
  • Relevant project management certification.
  • Proficiency in applying project management methodologies and skills in commercial project management.
  • Experience in handling legal and contractual matters.
