SENIOR ACCOUNTANT READING
UP TO £45,000
Our client, a trusted accountancy firm, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. You would manage your own portfolio of clients but also lead and mentor a team of part qualified accountants.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Accountant, you will be:
- Leading and mentoring a team of part-qualified accountants
- Managing financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, analysing data
- Maintaining a reduced client list to ensure personalised and high-quality service
- Contributing to business planning and growth strategies in line with revenue targets
- Engaging with clients to understand their business needs and provide strategic advice
WHAT YOU NEED
To be considered for the role of Senior Accountant, you will need:
- Fully ACCA/ACA qualification (or completing imminently)
- Proven experience in accounting with a strong foundation in bookkeeping and financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
