We are supporting their internal growth by recruiting a permanent Specifications Technologist to join their organisation. A successful candidate will be responsible for the completion on finished product specifications and including their required specification for the certification of various products. The Job You'll Do;
- Update and maintain all finished product specifications on offline and online specification systems
- Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding their technical queries
- Maintain technical information systems
- Review documentation relating to product specifications, including HACCP, food safety, HARA, vulnerability and TACCP
- Keep up-to-date on current food safety law.
- Creation of finished product specifications for customers as applicable and in a number of different formats.
- Label checks of products against finished product specification
- Provide technical support to the product development team
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
About You;
- Experience within a Specifications Technologist or similar position.
- Experience working within a FMCG/Food manufacturing environment previously.
- IT Literate.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Administration experienced would be essential.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels and between departments.
