Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: South Shields, Tyne & Wear
Start Date: ASAP/September 2024
Salary: £83 - £110 per day
GSL Education are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in South Shields. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children in their learning journey and looking to make a meaningful impact.
About the Role:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide support to individual students and small groups.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support students with their academic and social development.
- Carry out administrative tasks to ensure effective teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Experience working with primary-aged children.
- Relevant qualifications in supporting teaching and learning (Level 2 or Level 3).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and proactive approach.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
