ESOL Tutor - St Helens

As an ESOL tutor, you will provide high-quality English language instruction to EAL students. You will work closely with students to develop their language skills, enhance their academic performance, and build their confidence in using the English language in everyday situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective ESOL lessons tailored to the needs of EAL students.
- Assess student language proficiency and create personalised learning plans.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support students' overall academic development.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.

- Full-time/part-time - Part time
- Hourly rate - £25.00-£30.00
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- QTS or equivalent
- ESOL qualification e.g., TEFL or CELTA
- A minimum of 1-year ESOL tutoring experience
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced Child Barred DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide 2 professional, child-related references
