Accounts Assistant - Receivables & Treasury
Harpenden - office based with parking onsite
9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
Temp to perm £35k depending on experience
Our client is a well-regarded, and expanding international company, with offices worldwide. We are supporting them with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temp to perm basis. The role involves customer collections, banking, bank reconciliations and assisting with month end accounting tasks. This role is a temp to perm position, therefore you will need to be available immediately, or at short notice. It is a fully office-based role, no hybrid working is on offer.
You will be responsible for;
- The preparation of the receivables report weekly, identifying overdue invoices
- Collection of invoices
- Dealing with any queries
- Management of letters of credit
- Posting of payments
- Assisting with month-end receivable reconciliations
- Recording daily transactions
- cashflow projections
- Assisting with bank recs
- Assisting with month end intercompany recs
To be successful in this role you will need experience in;
- Accounts receivable and banking
- Excellent comms
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Good working knowledge of Excel
