About the Role

We're recruiting on behalf of a long-established, high-volume bakery based in Watford. This business supplies premium-quality bread, pastries, and sweet products to a wide range of hospitality clients across London and the surrounding counties. With over two decades of experience, they combine traditional baking techniques with modern production methods to deliver consistently excellent results.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time, on-site role for a skilled Baker. You'll be part of a dedicated production team responsible for preparing a variety of fresh baked goods daily, including sourdough loaves, enriched doughs, and sweet pastries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mix, shape, and bake a range of breads and pastries to production standards
  • Monitor baking processes and ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with food hygiene regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet daily production targets

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience in bread baking and sourdough fermentation
  • Competence in preparing pastries and sweet baked goods
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Good time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Previous experience in a commercial bakery or food production setting
