Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician

Position Overview:

They are are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting water hygiene assessments, maintaining and servicing water systems, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. If you have a passion for water safety and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and risk assessments of water systems and infrastructure.
  • Perform water sampling and analysis to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Carry out maintenance and servicing of water systems, including cooling towers, water tanks, and pipework.
  • Implement and monitor water treatment programs and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Document and report all findings, actions taken, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in water hygiene or a related field (experience with cooling towers and water tanks preferred).
  • Relevant qualifications in water hygiene, Legionella control, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Full driving license and ability to travel to various sites as required.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Certification in Legionella Risk Assessment and Control.
  • Experience with water quality testing equipment and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
