Due to increased demand from our prestigious customer, we are continuing our search for professional, reliable, and enthusiastic Class 1 Drivers to join their busy team in time for the potato and grain season.
Our customer consider their employees to be at the heart of their business, so it is important to them that they enjoy their work, therefore every driver has the opportunity to specialise in at least one type of transport, and will take regular customsied training courses to optimise their productivity and skill set.
Hours and shifts for this role are varied, however the client is flexible and will always work with the driver to find the best shift pattern to suit their invidual circumstances.
There are days and tramping available, with national, possibly international and long distance work which will continue throughout the year, with a permanent position available for the right candidate(s).

Duties:
- Carry out daily vehicle walk around checks
- Ensure allocated vehicle is in a safe and legal condition
- Check that any given load is secure and safe for transit
- Collection and delivery of grain/aggregates/potatoes in a safe and timely manner
- Follow any and all on site instructions at all times
- Carry out any other duties/tasks as reasonably required
Requirements:
- Current UK Driving Licence with C+E entitlement (Required)
- Valid CPC and Digi Card (Required)
- 6 month's Bulk/Tipper experience (Required)
- Experience of belt trailer's, specifically for potatoes (preferred), however full training will be provided
- Experience of loading/unloading grain (preferred), however full training will be provided
- Operate company vehicles in a defensive and safe manner
Hours and shifts patterns:
6 on 3 off days/tramping
4 on 4 off tramping
4 on 4 off days
Days with varying shift patterns available
Both shift patterns will have varying AM start times
