CMS Recruitment are working with a well established print and packaging company that have been in the industry for over 40 years. They are currently looking to recruit for a permanent Gluer Operator / Print Finisher.
Role:
- This role is to run a high speed gluing line on either the Signature or Hoson machines • Experience of operating hot and cold glue printing system• You will be familiar with printing machinery carrying out crash lock and/or straight line gluing• The printer will use a range of UV and conventional inks which you will be familiar with• You will carry out quality checking and have attention to detail• Carry out any other work duties as instructed by your leader or when machinery downtime• Highlighting any anomalies to your leader.Person:
- The salary is dependent on experience• You must have experience of working shifts and both working as part of a team and alone • A good work ethic, reliable, punctual and positive attitude• Production experience in fast-paced environment (Packaging environment would be an advantage) • Willing to learn new skills as the role develops • Able to take direction/instructions from leaders• Good attention to detail
