Screening Executive 7am-3:30pm (37.5 hours)
Location - New York Street - Manchester (this is a hybrid role, you will do 1 week in the office, 1 week from home and rotate) Salary: £22,500 per annum

We're looking for a Screening Executive to join our day shift, with strong administrative skills, great customer service skills and great attention to detail. The purpose of this role is to successfully pre-screen candidates going into assignments placed with our clients. So what does this role involve? The role of a Screening Executive at Reed is to ensure that all administration tasks and audits of the pre-screening packs are completed to the client's requirements.

This role will require someone working with both our clients and candidates to ensure that all relevant pre-screening checks are completed. Therefore, strong customer service skills are required, along with a candidate who is confident and enjoys working on the phone. We require someone who enjoys working on the phone and solving issues.

So what does this role involve?

The purpose of this role is to successfully pre-screen and dealing with customer queries on the phone and via email. We work with some high profile clients and candidates and therefore service excellence is paramount. Day to day the role includes (but is not limited to):

  • Complete and review industry specific checks i.e. credit checks, qualification verifications, identity checks
  • Ensure documentation is present and correct to pass all quality checks
  • Respond to queries from Hiring Managers and Candidates about the pre-employment vetting process
  • Contact Candidates via phone and email to investigation information that is highlighted throughout the pre-employment vetting process
  • Dealing with customer complaints/questions/issues on the phone and via email
  • Provide solutions to any queries that arise
  • Escalate queries where necessary
