Burman are supporting a public sector client appoint an interim Resourcing Manager. This role focuses on implementing a transformative resourcing strategy to enhance candidate attraction and selection, aligning with the client's values and strategic vision. Key responsibilities include driving innovative recruitment processes, enhancing the candidate experience, developing the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), managing supplier relationships, and utilising social media for recruitment.

Main Duties:

  1. Lead and develop the specialist resourcing team to deliver first-class, flexible, and professional resourcing services.
  2. Provide resourcing advice to hiring managers on campaign strategies, attraction methods, advertising media, and selection techniques.
  3. Ensure that the diverse needs and aspirations of current and future colleagues are considered in resourcing services.
  4. Support the development of the clients EVP
  5. Review and manage the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) to create cost-effective strategic partnerships with external recruitment agencies.
  6. Continually review and enhance the digital media presence and recruitment documentation.
  7. Establish strategic partnerships with external advertising agencies to ensure clients values are reflected in all role advertising.
  8. Review systems functionality to simplify and improve the digital experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  9. Proactively source candidates for high-volume roles to reduce vacancy gaps.
  10. Establish data collection and reporting mechanisms for recruitment analytics and management information.
  11. Ensure effective training and knowledge-sharing within the resourcing team and wider HR department.
  12. Regularly deliver recruitment and selection training to line managers and leaders, updating content to meet organisational needs.
  13. Engage with leading resourcing practices and adopt methods that enhance candidate attraction and efficiency.
  14. Support the Employment Services Team with onboarding and screening processes, including visa applications.
