Senior Software Engineer
Location: Remote | Rare travel to Hertfordshire
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
Xpertise Recruitment areseeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a market-leading organisation in the 'tech for good' space to help modernise their core applications. This role focuses on enhancing a customer-facing web application through innovative technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop complex production changes.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive technical innovation.
- Improve engineering efficiency and processes.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Ensure timely and functionally correct code delivery.
Desirable Skills:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Next.JS, React, Typescript, and SQL.
- Good experience working in .Net environments
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Skilled in Git source control and RESTful API design.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of software architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and cross-platform engineering.
