Job Description:

Holden Knight Healthcare is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a local council in Berkshire, seeking qualified Occupational Therapists to join their team. We have two fantastic opportunities available: a Team Leader Occupational Therapist and an Occupational Therapist in the Maximizing Independence team. Both roles offer rewarding challenges and the chance to make a real impact in the community.

1. Team Leader Occupational Therapist
Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of occupational therapists, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Manage complex cases, providing expert advice and support.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement care plans.
  • Oversee team performance, development, and adherence to statutory guidelines.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the service.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience managing or leading a team in a health or social care setting.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads and provide expert guidance.

2. Occupational Therapist (Maximizing Independence)
Salary: £32,000 - £41,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and interventions to help individuals regain and maintain their independence.
  • Develop tailored care plans that promote autonomy and enhance quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct home visits and environmental assessments to ensure safety and accessibility.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience in adult social care or maximizing independence programs is a plus.
  • Strong assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, person-centred approach to care.
