Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their fast-paced Credit Control department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in providing billing and administrative support across multiple group entities within the organisation.

What you'll do:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. You will be responsible for reconciling cash received, monitoring trends, processing invoices, preparing payments, managing client data, and providing exceptional service to clients. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure accuracy in all tasks, from processing self-billing invoices to creating client master data. Your commitment to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines will contribute significantly to the team's targets.

  • Reconcile cash received and ensure prompt posting and accurate allocation across multi-currency accounts
  • Monitor trends and provide reporting on unallocated cash position
  • Process self-billing invoices to tight timescales ensuring attention to detail
  • Prepare and reconcile applications for payment
  • Ensure all relevant invoices are raised on client partner portals in a timely and accurate manner
  • Create and amend client master data ensuring that all necessary checks and approvals are in place
  • Provide high-level professional service to clients in all interactions
  • Provide statements to clients on a monthly basis

The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist brings a wealth of experience from similar roles within large B2B organisations. Your ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectively will be crucial in this fast-paced environment. With strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, you'll handle data with precision. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build positive relationships with stakeholders while maintaining process management. An open mind towards flexible ways of working and adaptability towards new processes will be highly valued.

  • Proven track record in a similar position within a large B2B organisation
  • Experience working to deadlines along with the ability to effectively prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience including intermediate level Excel skills
  • High degree of organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and produce high-quality results within tight deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with a proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to form relationships with stakeholders while ensuring process management
  • Open-mindedness to flexible ways of working and ability to adapt to new processes and procedures
