Our client seeks a talented professional to join their team as a Business Development Manager. This role is essential in expanding our print and digital publications across Music, English Language Teaching, and Drama and Performance Arts.

This newly created position requires a skilled individual to develop and implement sales, business development, and marketing strategies to achieve commercial goals. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, in-market business development representatives, distributors, and retailers to enhance brand visibility and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and run sales, business development, and marketing strategies to meet commercial objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, institutions, and distributors.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Create and implement promotional campaigns to expand market reach and boost sales.
  • Analyse sales data to inform strategic decision-making.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in B2B publishing and/or media sales across a portfolio
  • Experience in acquiring new B2B clients
  • Knowledge of the music, performing arts, or education industry would be advantageous
  • Ability to manage customer data via CRM/ customer database systems and analytical software such as Excel and Tableau
