Asprie people have partnered with a brilliant secondary school based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire who are looking to add a new team of subject specalist to their team, including geography!
The Geography department at the school are a committed and supportive team, comprising of experienced teachers, ECTs and non-specialists. The Geography Department believe that all students are entitled to a challenging, academic and enjoyable experience of Geography.
The successful Geography Teacher will be appointed on a temp-perm basis, teaching year 7's to year 11's.
Key Responsibilities
? To develop a curiosity, excitement, and passion for Geography within Key stages 3 and 4.
? To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and build a culture of excellence in all classes.
? To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Teacher/Form Tutor
? To provide a learning experience which gives the students the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
? To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support the Geography curriculum area as appropriate.
? To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Experience And Qualifications
Degree in relevant subject
PGCE or QTS accepted only.
Knowledge of the national curriculum
