Salary £36,741 to £40,136 per annum
Hours per week: 37.5 hours

Fircroft is a residential college occupying a former Cadbury family home, set in six acres of beautiful grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham. We were originally founded to provide educational opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged and excluded members of society. More than one hundred years on from the birth of Fircroft College, its mission of ‘social justice' is more relevant than ever.

We are looking to appoint an Estates and Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of the estates function including catering, facilities and grounds. The post holder will be required to develop and manage sustainable development activities for the college, ensuring the college meets its sustainability targets.

The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety, and the upkeep and development of the College's estates and grounds; manage and develop the college estate in line with the college's Estates and Sustainable Development strategy, Support the Head of Business Infrastructure in managing any projects or incidents which fall under the remit of health and safety, facilities or estates.

To be considered for this role you must have experience managing the estates of a property or organisation comparable to the college, managing a diverse team effectively and positively and have a Health and Safety qualification.

The right person will be someone who enjoys working at a fast pace with a variety of different tasks, who is self-managed with a strong work ethic, who has a positive outlook and a ‘can do' attitude and is a completer/finisher.
