Robert Half are excited to be partner with a fast-growing organisation within the beauty industry, to recruit a Financial Controller.
We are ideally seeking a candidate who is ACA/ ACCA qualified, audit trained and has post qualification experience as a Finance Manager or equivalent, looking to step up (or across) into a Controller role.
This is an incredible opportunity, to report directly to a successful Finance Director, bridging the gap between them and the Finance function.
Location: Central London
Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office. Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the finance function.
- Budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Produce the monthly management accounts with commentary.
- Explanations of variances against budget, forecast and comparative periods.
- Lead the finance team and mentor junior staff to ensure their professional development.
- Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee the tax reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management.
- Liaise with payroll providers.
Required Knowledge:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Audit trained.
- Post qualification experience.
- People management experience (desirable).
- Hands-on approach.
The successful Financial Controller will recieve a base salary between £85,000 - £95,000 + benefits package.
