Interim Financial Controller
Northampton (Hybrid Working)
Monday - Thursday ( 4 Days a week)
SF Recruitment are working with a brilliant Engineering/Manufacturing business in Northampton who are seeking a Financial Controller to join their business on an interim basis. The ideal Financial Controller will be an immediately available, qualified professional with experience of working in an SME Manufacturing environment.
Duties of the interim Financial Controller:
- Responsible for overseeing with auditors the local Statutory Accounts for presentation to the Managing Director.
- Preparation and agreement of the German Parent accounting requirements and confirmation with Auditors.
- Month end close on SAP
- Ensures account balances are accurate.
- Month end journals and provisions.
- Organises workload to meet corporate reporting deadlines.
- Prepares and reviews financial statements with Managing Director.
- Inputs financial statements to Corporate reporting system with commentary.
- Produces cash flow forecasts.
- Prepares VAT returns (UK, IE and DE).
- Budgeting/Planning/Reporting
- Presents financial results at management meetings and partners with non-finance managers to provide financial insight to support decision making.
