We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to a dynamic organisation.
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. The successful candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant include:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable ledgers and records.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments to address any queries.
- Cover other roles and duties in the team as and when required.
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable role is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
