Position: Project Manager - Construction
Location: Manchester
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various housing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple housing projects from inception to completion
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
- Oversee project teams and provide guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in extra-care homes, social housing, or affordable apartments
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
