We are seeking a Neighbourhood Services Assistant to provide essential administrative support to a neighbourhood team. This role involves delivering customer services efficiently and supporting the management of neighbourhood operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the neighbourhood team.
- Assist in managing tenancy conditions and support the enforcement of these conditions.
- Handle enquiries professionally, adhering to service standards.
- Support the delivery of neighbourhood improvement plans and compliance with housing policies.
- Contribute to the development of service improvement initiatives and customer engagement activities.
- Maintain effective communication with partners and agencies to support business objectives.
- Manage small projects and support the broader team in achieving coordinated service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a social housing or local authority (housing) environment.
- Understanding of housing tenancy conditions and social housing regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
- Excellent customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with a flexible approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Driving licence and access to a car are preferable.
