This is a very exciting opportunity for a General Manager with a proven track record to join an impressive food manufacturing company. You will need to provide leadership and direction to the management team, encouraging ownership and accountability for the UK operation.
You will be managing a cross-functional team in delivering site objectives and KPIs through Operations, Warehouse, Planning, Technical and Quality. This will require you to bring energy and motivate your team progress the manufacturing unit to the next level. You'll need to be at the forefront of improvements to drive continuous and sustainable performance and you will be at the forefront of CI projects to make them a success.
You will also have the gravitas to add value in senior stakeholder meetings and form a strong relationship across all departments, influencing both strong leaders and characters.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a General Manager, Head of Operations or similar role in a complex food manufacturing company, demonstrating a track record of high performing sites.
- An excellent leadership style to influence and drive forward growth through culture and experience.
- Excellent communication skills to develop strong relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Can demonstrate delivery of continuous improvement projects and utilising Lean principles.
