Looking to make an impact at one of the UK's leading housing associations? Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner with a knack for analytics and business partnering? If so, this could be the role for you!

Robertson Bell are partnering exclusively with a G15 social housing provider as they go to market for a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. You will report into a highly experienced line manager and will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation with financial insights for a significant cost centre. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, contribute to significant financial decisions, and support a vital area of their operations.

In this Finance Business Partner role, you will:

  • Engage in detailed analytics and day-to-day business partnering, focusing on an important and sizable cost-centre.
  • Conduct fleet analysis specific to repairs, and play a key role in the month-end process, including reporting, producing commentary, and review.
  • Perform cost vs. budget analysis, reconciliations and work extensively in Excel to map costs, handle accruals and prepayments, and support reporting needs.
  • Partner with budget holders during monthly meetings to explain insights, discuss analysis, and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, particularly those in operational roles, to enhance their understanding of financial data.

Based in central London, this position boasts a hybrid pattern, requiring you to go into the office once or twice a week. However, more regular office attendance will be expected during the first two weeks. In addition, you will benefit from a generous pension contribution, excellent annual leave allowance and other wellbeing perks!

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A professional accounting qualification, however part-qualified candidates will be considered.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel, with experience reconciling multiple data sets and identifying anomalies.
  • Proven business partnering experience, confident in engaging with stakeholders, and explaining financial insights.
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and support stakeholders effectively.
  • A background in the social or commercial housing sector experience, however this is not essential.
