Neighbourhood Response Officer
- Location: Bromley, South East London
- Salary: £19.75 PAYE or £24.51 Umbrella per hour
- Job Type: Contract (3 months)
We are seeking a Neighbourhood Response Officer to join our team immediately. This role is crucial in ensuring our neighbourhoods are desirable places to live by understanding local needs and collaborating with teams, resident groups, and external partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate inspection, tenancy management, and addressing anti-social behaviour.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct estate inspections to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Manage new tenancy sign-ups and conduct tenancy reviews.
- Investigate breaches of tenancy and support vulnerable customers.
- Address and prevent anti-social behaviour by working with colleagues and external agencies.
- Collaborate across teams and departments to deliver successful outcomes.
- Engage with the community and develop effective working relationships with external partners.
- Challenge and hold accountable teams delivering services and improvements in neighbourhoods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in providing excellent customer service.
- Experience dealing with customers in person and working with external partners.
- Ability to work to plans and targets and exercise good judgement.
- Must be a vehicle owner and driver (ideally).
- Must be DBS checked with relevant experience.
- Customer-focused with a positive mindset and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
- Resilient, proactive, and creative in finding solutions.
- Able to work independently with confidence.
