London Office - 3 days in office/2 days home Working +Travel

Base salary up to £45,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

We need a fluent German and English speaker with b2b sales experience to join our client's London office as a Sponsorship Sales Manager. This is a solutions led, consultative sales role.

As a Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will sell high value sponsorship solutions to blue chip companies. You will be working on German business events.

We're looking for a German speaking sales professional who can engage and make connections with clients, understand their needs and provide the best business solutions.

Our client welcomes applications from sponsorship sales professionals looking to join a successful media & events business.

What will you be doing?

  • Sell high value sponsorship and marketing solutions to new and existing blue chip firms.
  • Communicating confidently with senior decision makers over the phone and face to face in meetings or at events.
  • Negotiating and closing business
  • closing repeat business with clients
  • Research new prospects, follow up on leads and data shared by the marketing and content team and utilise the database (Salesforce) to identify lapsed clients.
  • Manage your sales pipeline and keep the database updated.
  • Working to agreed targets for each event.
  • keeping the wider event team updated on your sales pipeline and sharing relevant industry insights and information.
  • Attending your events, competitor events and client meetings - travel is required.

Who are you?

  • Educated to degree level
  • At least 2 years of b2b sponsorship sales experience where you have developed new business and grown existing accounts.
  • Fluent in both German and English language
  • An excellent communicator who is confident talking and presenting to peers and senior decision makers over the phone and in-person. Ability to connect and engage with clients.
  • Persuade and influence decision makers
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Able to manage the responsibility of meeting targets and deadlines and managing your time effectively
  • Attention to detail and organised
  • Positive, enthusiastic and ambitious professional
  • Confident using IT including such as Teams, Microsoft and CRM
