Day to Day of the Role:
- Manage and oversee the financial systems, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support.
- Implement and improve financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and manage expenditure, ensuring value for money in school operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A relevant degree and professional accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) or the willingness to work towards it.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance role, within the education sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting practices.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
