Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about working with young children and helping them learn and develop? Zest Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Rugby starting in October 2024.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work full-time from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 15:30, supporting the class teacher with various classroom duties. Your responsibilities will include supervising class activities, working closely with small groups of children, monitoring and reporting student development, and assisting with lesson planning and delivery.

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in the education sector and a strong understanding of the school curriculum. You should be adaptable across different year groups and schools, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine passion for working with children.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school setting
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one
  • General understanding of the current school curriculum
  • Passion for working with young children
  • Ability to adapt to different age groups and curriculum requirements
