We are seeking two Mechanical Engineering Assessors to join our client's team at their FE college. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about engineering and have a proven track record of successful assessment. As a Mechanical Engineering Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring engineers.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct assessments for students at levels 1-3 in Mechanical Engineering.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Develop assessment tools and strategies to effectively measure student competencies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure alignment of assessment with curriculum objectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to ensure assessments remain relevant and up-to-date.
- Participate in regular professional development to improve assessment practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold a relevant Assessor qualification in Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in successful assessment within the field of Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of the competencies and skills required in the engineering industry.

- Ability to provide feedback that is clear, actionable, and supportive.
