Admin and Compliance Officer

Are you a dynamic Administration and Compliance Officer with a passion for supporting learners and assisting with general day-to-day administration within an Academy setting? Do you have a passion for working within education establishments and young people? This is a key role within our Academy supporting with the general operation of the training academy.

The Banham Academy is part of the Banham Group of companies and has been formed to meet the training and development needs of its own employees as well as a growing number of external employers seeking high-quality apprenticeships in the Fire and Security Systems sector. We are directly funded by the ESFA for the delivery of apprenticeships.

**We are looking for someone who can;

  • Provide operational support to the Apprenticeship Manager
  • Provide Initial Advice and Guidance to all learners - we are Matrix accredited
  • Assist with occasional exam bookings/small group invigilation
  • Maintain accurate and timely manual and electronic records in line with GDPR
  • Input data with excellent attention to detail (exp of ILR database on PICs desirable but not essential)
  • Prepare and complete learner progress reviews with learners/employers
  • Ensure learner targets are met and learners remain on track to achieve
  • Answer general enquiries & assist with the smooth running of the training academy
  • Maintain stock levels of training materials/stationery
  • Co-ordinate maintenance of training equipment (e.g., photocopier, telephones, laptops, computers) and liaise internally/externally if repairs required
  • Undertake ad-hoc admin tasks eg: correspondence to learners/employers, and general administration duties.
  • Assist with apprenticeship recruitment at careers events
  • Stay up to date with mandatory staff training (safeguarding/GDPR etc.)
