This is an excellent opportunity for a Survey Tender Engineer to join an industry leading surveying company, working on some of the UK's major construction developments with training and progression opportunities on offer for the right candidate.

My client are an industry leader, having developed an excellent industry reputation and specialize in Marine Surveying and Hydrographic Surveys and plan to build upon their excellent reputation through onboarding individuals with the same values which will therefore allow the business to consistently provide an excellent standard of service.

You will produce high quality tender submissions, ensuring all processes are adhered to, liaising with technical teams to ensure the correct technical approach is advised and offered to clients. You will liaise and negotiate with third party suppliers and vessel brokers to ensure commercial competitive quotes are received, you will also price the tenders.

The ideal candidate will come from a hydrographic background and report to the business development manager who currently manages all tenders. You will have a survey or engineering related degree and have experience in offshore surveys or engineering.

The Role:
Survey Tender Engineer

  • Liaise with tendering manager to ensure all risks are captures and mitigated
  • Hosting internal and external tender meetings
  • Negotiating with third party suppliers to ensure commercially competitive quotes are received
  • Collating tenders in full

The Person:

  • Hydrographic background is essential but training will be provided for those with less
  • Survey related degree / engineering degree
  • Problem solver
  • Able to commute to Salisbury, however remote working is available to the correct candidate.
