Our client is a world-renowned architecture company headquartered in Central London, with multiple offices around the world.
Much of the company's work involves interesting building designs, such as museums, retail stores, and large-scale construction, i.e., skyscrapers.
This role is a part-time-only, three-days-per-week opportunity. There is no plan for this role to become full-time.
Contract volumes are low; therefore, the ability to be versatile and willing to take on multiple projects is vital.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and manage the contracts process within the business, e.g., Professional Services Appointment contracts and negotiating Collateral Warranty clauses.
- Anticipate risk and support project managers on their proposals and bids by wearing the legal hat.
Preferences:
- Desirable qualifications: UK legal qualifications or an MSc in Construction Law.
- Experience in the Quantity Surveying or Structural Engineering industry.
