**Job Purpose:
As a Training Officer and Plumbing & Gas Tutor/Assessor, you will teach and mentor apprentices from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through their learning journey and helping them achieve their full potential. You will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in Plumbing and Gas at Level 3 and above.
- Develop and adapt course materials to meet educational standards and industry needs.
- Foster relationships with external parties and promote industry events and activities.
- Ensure exceptional safety and quality in your work while leading by example.
- Actively support apprentices' safety and welfare throughout their training journey.

**Person Specification:
**Essential Requirements:
- Fully qualified Plumbing & Gas with relevant industry experience.
- Strong technical abilities and up-to-date knowledge of plumbing and gas technology.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
- Strong IT, administrative, and organizational skills.
**Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with government training schemes and National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
- Assessor qualifications (e.g., D32, D33, A1, or TAQA).
- Teaching qualifications (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, or Cert Ed) are advantageous.
