Seeking a mechanically biased multi skilled Maintenance Engineer for a global manufacturer based in Sheffield.
As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be required to safely maintain and repair site facilities, plant and equipment and update all relevant documentation.
If you have only mechanical skills and no electrical, that is ok, and we would still be very keen to speak to you.

Shift pattern:
Working Mon to Fri double days, 37.5 hours per week.
- Week 1: (Mornings) Mon - Fri 6am to 1.30pm
- Week 2: (Afternoons) Mon - Fri 1.30pm to 9pm
Duties of a Maintenance Engineer
- Perform reactive maintenance and tasks in line with machinery PPM schedules
- Maintain documents to ensure they are correct and up to date
- Assist in continuous improvement ideas and projects
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Report machinery breakdowns / PPM status for shift handover
- Provide realistic time / cost estimates for completion of maintenance tasks
- Assist in the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts and equipment
Skills and experience required:
- Fully apprenticeship trained, mechanically biased multi skilled engineer.
- Mechanical qualifications of Level 3 standard or higher
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or ideally heavy industry sector
