As Senior Tax Consultant you will provide specialist verbal and written tax investigations advice to support a range of clients including accountants, professionals, business owners and individuals.
The role requires a previous experience of working within HMRC.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Assist with the application of complex, specialist technical advice to provide innovative solutions that add value to the client.
- Assist with a range of advanced compliance matters, deal with HM Revenue & Customs enquiries and review technical correspondence, guidance and legislation.
- Leverage relationships, technology and social media to build a profile with both existing clients and a wider network of professional contacts, raising the profile of Markel Tax to promote our expertise.
- Utilise your existing skill set and experience to develop and build a niche area of interest and knowledge within the team to expand the range of technical expertise.
- Engage with the wider business to build knowledge and awareness of all aspects of our service offering to help identify cross sell opportunities and assist with marketing initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships and support a team culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and technical debate to achieve team goals.
- Act with honesty and integrity in all dealings with clients, contacts and team members whilst respecting confidentiality and building trust.
Where you will be granted an excellent flexible working policy, with a requirement of one day per month in the businesses Rugby office and the remainder of your time will be work from home.
Salary: £50,000 - £50,000
