Conveyancing Secretary

We are seeking a Conveyancing Secretary to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting our fee earners by managing their day-to-day workload, allowing them to maximise their time spent on fee-earning tasks. The position is client-facing, requiring a professional who is a confident communicator and capable of handling sensitive interactions with discretion.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide administrative support including audio typing and sending out correspondence such as letters and emails.
- Manage client files from opening to closure, including conducting Anti-Money Laundering checks.
- Prepare and draft documents from audio dictation.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as photocopying, printing, and scanning.
- Take responsibility for internal and external telephone queries, ensuring messages are communicated promptly.
- Assist in the billing process by preparing bills and liaising with the fee earner and accounts department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within conveyancing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in handling administrative duties and familiar with legal documentation processes.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
