Chapman Tate Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Manchester, looking for an experienced SCCM Engineer to join their dynamic IT team. As an SCCM Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SCCM solutions across various client infrastructures, ensuring seamless software deployment, patch management, and OS configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain SCCM environments for both internal systems and client infrastructures.
  • Manage OS deployments, software updates, and patch management through SCCM.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving to resolve SCCM-related issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of the SCCM infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Work closely with clients to gather requirements and deliver customized SCCM solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate SCCM with other tools and technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest SCCM developments, ensuring the MSP offers cutting-edge solutions to clients.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience working as an SCCM Engineer or in a similar Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of SCCM administration, including software distribution, patching, and OS deployment.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Solid understanding of PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Familiarity with Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
