Financial Controller

On behalf of a dynamic, high-growth SME on the Isle of Wight, CMA Recruitment Group are recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to support the business' future plans. Reporting to the Board Directors, the successful applicant will be a key advisor for business decision making.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

  • Overall oversight and management of all operating and monitoring systems used by the business, including Xero from an accounting perspective.
  • Make recommendations on future systems and improvements.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager and wider management team to optimise Gross Profit Margins.
  • Provide the Directors with comprehensive and timely management accounts monthly, whilst providing and monitoring budgets for department heads.
  • Provide a weekly overview report of key KPIs for the previous week across all sites.

Suitable candidate for Financial Controller:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified as a preference.
  • Proven experience overseeing the finance function of an SME.
  • Hospitality related experience desirable.
  • Credible managing internal and external relationships.
