2nd Line IT Support Engineer

VIQU have partnered with a Managed Service Provider who specialise in IT support, cloud services, cybersecurity, telephony, managed print services, and Office 365 implementations.
They are seeking a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to provide deskside and remote second-line technical support and maintenance on-site for their clients across Herts/Beds/Bucks and London.
Please note: this role will be based from the office in Milton Keynes 1-2 days per week, 2-3 days will be onsite with clients in the above locations, and one day will be working from home. You do get a car allowance and a fuel card for the travel required.
Essential Requirements of the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:
- 3+ years minimum in an IT support role with robust 2nd line support capabilities, including diagnosing and resolving issues on both Microsoft operating systems.
- Experience working in an MSP or prior experience providing IT support across a variety of sites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Server operating systems and associated technologies such as Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Office 365, and Active Directory, including implementation and administration of AD, GPO, and RDS.
- Knowledgeable about cloud services, including Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive
- Experience with Intune and implementing IT solutions, along with basic networking knowledge and an understanding of switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, and routing.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Travelling to client sites across London
- Hold a full UK driving license with access to personal transportation.
