HSE Advisor

Hybrid / Travel to Multiple Sites (nationwide)

Monday to Friday (40 hrs p/w)

£40,000

+ £5,000 Car Allowance

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a well-established and successful construction materials testing company.

This is a hybrid role with travelling requirements to multiple company sites throughout the month (a full UK driving license and own transport is a must).

Education & Training

  • Practical experience of conducting and reporting internal audits
  • Completion of a professional qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, NCRQ, NEBOSH
  • IRCA Internal Auditor
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels and to provide guidance and support both orally and through written reports

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience of implementing health and safety and environmental management systems and conducting pragmatic performance reviews with a proactive approach to driving improvements
  • Adopting a pragmatic approach and demonstrating a collaborative attitude, self-motivated, willing to take ownership and responsibility for maintaining their health and safety and environmental knowledge and competence
  • Knowledge and experience of construction and/or materials testing related activities, risks and hazards gained over a 3-year period
