Design Technology Teacher - Perm position
Milk Education are working with an mainstream Secondary school in Northallerton who are looking for a hardworking Teacher of Design Technology. You will be teaching KS3 – KS4
The ideal candidate will have:
- Someone with a passion for Design & Technology and is a commitment to improving teaching and learning.
- Someone who supports a vibrant, aspirational and inclusive programme of extra-curricular clubs and enrichment
- Someone who demonstrates good understanding of assessment and monitoring procedures.
- A leader that is willing to learn and apply new techniques that contribute to high quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- An ambitious teacher, rich in ideas and quick to see opportunity and have the ability to see projects through to completion with drive.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons.
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
- Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a UK Secondary school setting.
- Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
- Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
