The Quality Manager ensures development and proper application & deployment of quality activities and internal/external quality standards within the plant, working closely with relevant stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to support operations.

How you'll contribute to the mix:
- Management of the day to day running of the Quality team
- Maintain, audit and help develop the quality management system
- Support operational teams to drive quality improvements
- Liaise with Purchasing to maintain supplier approval & monitoring system
- Maintain packaging and raw material specifications
- HACCP team leader
- Manage raw material / packaging delivery testing / paper work / sample storing.
- Organise hygiene audits with the aim of helping the factory improve standards.
- Internal legislation enquiries
- Customer care complaint handling and investigation
- Pest control
- Deputise for Head of Quality Management
- Work with NPD team to ensure new products or recipe changes meet regulatory standards
- Ensure documentation is completed in line with company policy
- At all times work in a safe and hygienic manner, following relevant procedures and taking due care and attention to the safety of themselves and those around them
Can you supply our essential ingredients?
- Minimum 5 years experience of quality management systems
- Intermediate certificate in applied Haccp Principles
- Experience in team management
- Internal Auditor to BRC /IFS / FSSC Global Standards
- Practical / hands-on approach
- Methodical
- Good attention to detail
- Self motivated
- Team player
- Good communication, time management and organisation skills
