Location: Cranleigh, Surrey

Salary: £16,674 - £17,339 per annum (Dependent on experience) (FTE £19,440 - £20,216 per annum based on 32.5 hours / 52 weeks) With an additional £1,000 Retention Bonus**

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only (Including 5 in-service training days)

St Joseph's are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their small, friendly team of Healthcare Assistants in their school medical department. The role will involve assisting with the correct administration of First Aid, treatments and medication to their students and staff as well as delivering training to staff. Previous experience is preferred but not essential.

Hours of work: 8:30am-3.30pm (with ½ hour unpaid break) 5 days a week during term time (35 hours per week) and on In-Service training days (5 days).

Supporting the students can sometimes be challenging. Physical and mental resilience is crucial, you need empathy and compassion and should possess the drive to make a real difference to the lives of the young people. You will have the ongoing support of a skilled and dedicated team. Comprehensive training and mentoring include learning about safeguarding, autism and positive behaviour support are provided.
