Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank's businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.

You will be joining the Global Treasury Strat team part of the Group Strategic Analytics function. We collaborate with Treasury, Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, and other divisions at Deutsche Bank. We combine expertise in quantitative analytics, modelling, pricing, and risk management with deep understanding of system architecture and programming. The primary output is a scalable and flexible front office pricing and risk management system for Treasury and the firm to manage risks, allocate constrained resources, and maximize profitability.

Your key responsibilities

  • Supports business processes and data requirements in partnership and collaboration with other team members and external teams
  • Supports the design and conceptualisation of new analytical business solutions and processes
  • Supports the development of risk management analytics and pricing tools for Treasury trading desks, including pool, issuance, strategic liquidity reserve, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), and central investment office
  • Supports the development of Environmental Social and Governance( ESG) applications and processes for Treasury and other businesses at Deutsche Bank
  • Create models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentation, which support the target audience to understand the business requirements
  • Facilitates communication at team level to create consensus on scope, design, and implementation decisions

Your skills and experience

  • Strong business analysis skills, with knowledge in Treasury processes such as Asset and Liability Management, Funds Transfer Pricing, liquidity management etcetera
  • Experience working with business requirements through to system level functional specifications.
  • Good quantitative, analytical, modelling, pricing, and risk management skills
  • Good computing and programming skills, including C++ and Python experience
  • Experience in Information Technology change projects, involving multiple applications and technologies is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
